Hello All,
Sorry if you are experiencing cross postings ...
It's almost time for our last scheduled Webheads presentation and global teacher/student conference. This is a gathering of 3 communities: online students and online teachers meeting virtually with realtime conference attendees. You are very welcome to join us.
There's been a time change. Our presentation is scheduled one hour
earlier than expected but will go as long as we had planned. This means that we
will start at:
- 10:30 GMT and finish at 12:15 GMT, Thursday May 11, 2000.
We will meet in voice/text chat, text-only chat, and the Palace. We have learned from previous experiences how to better greet visitors, and we will station a gate-keeper in each chat area. That is, there should be someone in these chats to welcome you as you enter, in case Vance is busy talking to the real audience.
The chat addresses and gatekeepers are:
- voice chat at http://www.chariot.net.au/~michaelc/hearme.htm
(Peter in Tokyo)
- text chat at
http://www.homestead.com/vstevens/
(Choi in Korea)
- The Palace, efi.virtualscholar.com on port 9998 at 11:30
GMT, May 11, 2000. (Maggi in Germany)
Michael in Australia will also be keeping an eye out in the voice and text chat areas as will Maggi in Germany and Vance in Dubai.
