The speaker shows how blogs can be used to present a paper and thus model what he is presenting on. He uses blogs in an English composition course, not just as a way to provide journals for the students, but to create a higher level of interactivity in the class and a greater sense of community. He discusses the kind of preparation needed to get a class using blogs as well as what kinds of assignments are best suited to that particular medium. |
