Bobbi's Bailiwick

Bobbi is a pre-school teacher by profession. She is an avid scuba diver. She has earned her PADI Rescue Diver certificate and she is working on her Divemaster qualifications.

• Bobbi helped set up Stepping Stones Playschool in Abu Dhabi, and taught there for two years: http://www.steppingstones-uae.com.
• In California, she taught at Foothill College's Children's Center while seeking her California teaching credentials. After substituting one summer for the Santa Clara School District Kindergarten and first grade summer program, she started teaching at the district pre-school.
• Bobbi supervised the pre-school at Sultan Qaboos University in Oman for ten years.
• She started teaching kindergarten in 1979? when she took over an existing school in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, to care for Glenn when he was a toddler.
• Bobbi holds a Montessori teaching certificate.

Bobbi says:

• I like softball, scuba diving and hiking. I enjoy walking in the California Redwoods. (Picture at right taken in 1996 at our home in California)
• It's nice to be back in the Middle East. I still miss Oman, but Abu Dhabi has it's own charm. The main thing I miss about California are the forests, libraries, and my son, Glenn.
